RADIO SUFFOLK

We are looking forward to an interesting talk from Mark Murphy on Radio Suffolk at the Village Hall on the 13th April at 2.30 p.m. when visitors will, as usual, be very welcome.
At our March meeting, a large audience was privileged to hear Elizabeth Baxter speak in her soft, gentle voice about the love and care she and her husband devote to the men and women who turn to them for help and refreshment at their Home, Holyrood House in North Yorkshire.
We should like to remind all bridge players that we are holding our usual bridge drive on Tuesday, 26th April in the Village Hall at 2 p.m.
There will be the usual excellent prizes and, of course, our renowned WI teas! Tickets at £6 each may be obtained from Jenny Cardwell, Margot Godbold or me.

Centenary

Those of you who keep track of these things will have noticed that this is issue number 99 of the Walberswick Village News and we are therefore only one  away from our centenary edition!
To celebrate this event the 'Board' is proposing we hold a competition in our 100th edition. Our esteemed chairman is offering a prize of a bottle of '
bubbly' for the winner, so we hope you all join in the 'spirit' of the enterprize.
(It won't be too taxing or mind stretching.)
Would
you like to provide some copy to celebrate the event?
It's
your magazine so come and join in, and help to make the edition slightly different
