Front of House, Costumes, Props, Stage Management…etc. If you are interested in helping with any aspect of the village pantomime, please come to 'Lilliput', Lodge Road on either the 4th or 11th September (Sundays) between 2 and 4 p.m. Actors, of course, we need you too: be it just joining in our one song, or fighting one battle, or a much larger part. We are interested in meeting everyone. If you are away from the village during the week, we can also accommodate that with a weekend rehearsal. So, no excuses, while away those winter months, have a laugh and meet all the villagers you didn't know existed. We'd love to see you all!

LETTER FROM THE OLM
Here is a sample of the positive comments in our church visitor's book made by visitors during our recent Flower Festival weekend. (9th, 10th July) 'To the glory of God indeed! I've really enjoyed the beauty and variety of the floral displays. And appreciated the organ playing and highly polished brass too!' (Dunlop, Scotland) 'Beautiful flowers and church' (New Jersey, USA) 'A lot of thought put into it' (Wigston Magna) 'Blooming wonderful display' (Honiton) 'The beauty reflects God's glory' (Bedford USA) 'So creative' (Purley) Indeed, thanks to all the helpers, adults and children, who helped to make the weekend so enjoyable and successful. Special thanks to Elizabeth Leighton for organising the festival - it was her first would you believe? Thanks, also, to those who assisted in providing music, and to those who helped by being on duty at the various stalls. The annual Scripture Union Beach Mission (the old CSSM) will take place at Southwold between 31st July and 12th August; please see the church notice board for further details. During the week beginning 8th August Julie Winyard will be running a children's holiday club in the village. The annual Blessing of the Animals service will take place at Holy Trinity Blythburgh on Sunday 28th August at 11 a.m. Our next Luncheon Club will be at the Village Hall on Friday 12th August at 12.30 p.m.; as usual everyone is welcome and the cost will be £5. Yours in Christ's service
