Our Christmas party will be on Wednesday, 7^th December in the Village Hall at 2.30 p.m. This will include a belly dancer, when we shall be invited to join in! After this there will be some games, a delicious tea, followed by singing a few carols.
Jenny Cardwell presided over the AGM at the November meeting. She told us how much she had enjoyed her first year and how impressed she was with the organisation.
Ann Beckham and Heather Hyne, the retiring Secretary and Treasurer, were thanked for all their hard work. Ann particularly had given ten years of excellent service to the Branch. Irene Prince and Judith Hetherington were voted for by the members to replace them. Margot Godbold takes over from Addie Fox as programme organiser.
The President warmly invited guests to the Christmas party and urged us all to encourage other ladies in the village to join this splendid organisation.

We will be holding our Annual Mini Market on Saturday, the 3^rd of December.
We will have all the usual stalls, including having Christmas decorations and cards on sale.
The silent auction will again be run, as this proves to be very popular.
Please do make a note in your diary, as we will be most grateful for all your continued support.

A meeting of allotment holders will be held in the Village Hall on Sun December 4^th at 10.00 a.m. to collect the rent.
Any person wishing to take up an allotment will be welcome as there are sections available to rent.
