'Wyn' Riddell

Very many thanks to all the people in the village who helped Mum feel so cared for and appreciated during her final days at home. Both she and I were overwhelmed by your love, care and support and I can't tell you what your visits, flowers, food, tots of whisky and goodwill meant to us both. Similarly, I received an enormous amount of help in preparing for her funeral and that too was generously offered and very much appreciated.
So, again
many thanks to all of you, and I hope I will have opportunities to return the gifts to you at some time, in some way.

With love from Jude Riddell

WI: Health And Well being for Men

We are delighted that The Reverend Elizabeth Baxter, Peter and Joan Avis's daughter, will be speaking to us again at the meeting on March 8th. She is a most interesting speaker and we are so pleased she is making a return visit.
As it is Fair Trade fortnight, we shall be having a stall in the Village Hall on that Wednesday afternoon and a lady from Southwold will run it. Everyone is welcome to visit us.
We were pleased to learn more about the Samaritans last month. Several of our members brought in items for them to sell in their shop. Helpers and cash are very much needed for this excellent service.

They can give you advice and information about the available help in your area.
