I would like to express my grateful thanks to all those who gave and offered help to Pauline and me, while I was having my operation. Also, my thanks go to those who wished me well at that time.

Peter Panto - The Home Video!
On Sunday, 23rd April at 6 p.m. in the Village Hall, there will be a screening of this year's pantomime. Everyone is very welcome and afterwards you will be able to order a copy if you so wish. However, this is very much an amateur video, so be prepared for an interesting memory, rather than a Hollywood production!

Parish Council Report - 6th March
Planning -The Parish Council were concerned about the access to The Stables, Westons, for the proposed erection of three units of guest accommodation, as it was on a dangerous bend in the road. They were also apprehensive about the impact this would have on one of the few green sites left in the village. They had no objections to extensions and alterations at Field Cottage, Seven Acres Lane. Suffolk Coastal had given planning permission to extensions at Millcroft, Millfield Road and for the erection of an extension to the existing kitchen at the Anchor Hotel. Breach of sea defences - The Environment Agency had informed the Council that they did not know when repairs would take place. It was agreed to keep pressing the Agency for action. Play area - Village Green - Estimates to replace the chippings on the Village Green with a tiled surface ranged from £5,500 - £14,500. It was agreed to continue using the chippings. Beach Clean - This was arranged for Sunday 23rd April, meeting at Cliff Field car park at 10 a.m. British Nuclear Group A public meeting will be held on Monday, 10th April at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall. Ray Jepps and Paul Wilkinson, Sizewell A's Site and Decommissioning Managers will attend on the evening to present and answer questions as required. Annual Parish Meeting This annual meeting takes place in the Village Hall at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday 20th April. Viv Hunt, Clerk to the Council
