Ray Easterbrook
Anne Easterbrook and family would like you to know how much your beautifully written letters, and cards, have helped them to bear the loss of Ray. Thank you.

WI Octavia Hill, Founder of National Trust Gardens
Monica Place is our speaker on April 12th. Visitors will be most welcome to come to the meeting to hear this outstanding speaker. We were full of admiration to learn of all the good work that The Revd Elizabeth Baxter and her husband are doing at their residential homes in Yorkshire. Anyone needing help and counselling, either men or women, are very welcome to stay with them.

Letter From The OLM
Easter: what thoughts does the word, the season, conjure up for you? Easter bunnies perhaps? Or, more likely, Chocolate Easter eggs? Or do you think about the real reason for celebrating Easter i.e. the fact that Jesus Christ rose triumphantly from the dead? If you want to know more about that, why not join us for our service on Easter Sunday morning? Before we arrive at the celebrations for Easter there will be further events to help you understand something of what Christians believe. The final meeting of the Lent Group will take place at Greengates on Tuesday 4th April at 7.30 p.m., when we will endeavour to answer the question 'Where is God when we try to make sense of life?' The final two Lent Lectures at the United Reform Church in Southwold will be: Sunday 2nd April 'Sanctification - Holier than thou?' By the Venerable Geoffrey Arrand. Sunday 9th April 'Reconciliation - love even my enemy? By the Revd Keith White. On Maundy Thursday a Team Eucharist with foot washing (the latter is not compulsory, a few token volunteers act as a very powerful visual aid as we remember Jesus Christ washing his disciples' feet) will take place at Holy Trinity Blythburgh at 7.30 p.m. The following day, being Good Friday, there will a one-hour devotional service here at St. Andrew's, as we think about Jesus Christ's crucifixion. May you enjoy a happy Easter, Brian Fisher
