Letter From The OLM
Summer seems to have crept up on us this year - at least I think that summer has arrived! This means that the schools will soon break up and that we will be seeing the usual influx of visitors from the middle of this month; many of them making return visits to a place from which they find hard to stay away (understandably). The World Cup may still be taking place, but I'm sure it will not stop people from visiting our lovely village. As ever, may we be more than willing to make all our visitors welcome. May we also welcome, those who will be coming to our village (perhaps for the first time) to attend the wedding on 1st July, at St Andrew's, when Philip Walford will marry Deborah Rose. Please remember Phil & Debbie in your prayers as they prepare for their big day and their future life together. For more years than I care to remember Scripture Union (formerly CSSM) have run a Beach Mission for children and young people at Southwold. This year's mission will take place between 30th July & 12th August; this is usually a fun packed time for children and young people of all ages. There are often activities for adults as well. Please note that July's Luncheon Club will take place on Friday 21st July (not the 14th as shown in my letter in last month's issue). Yours in Christ's service, Brian Fisher
